Eha retreat

Eha Retreat is a forthcoming luxury wellness destination on Hiiumaa Island, a remote UNESCO-designated Biosphere Reserve off the west coast of Estonia, set to open in summer 2026. Rooted in the island’s untouched nature and ancient seasonal rhythms, Eha is envisioned as a sanctuary for deep renewal, presence, and reconnection with self and landscape.

Designed to harmonize with its surroundings, the retreat comprises eight minimalist suites and three forest cabins that accommodate up to 22 guests. Its architecture and interiors blend Nordic design with local materials, maximizing natural light and framing views of forest, sky, and sea.

Eha’s wellness philosophy emphasizes alignment with nature’s “five-season” calendar (including the unique Hiiumaa Springrise), with curated retreat programs that integrate thermal rituals, sauna and hydrotherapy, mindful movement, breathwork, foraging, nature immersion, and reflection. These experiences draw from ancestral Estonian healing traditions alongside evidence-based practices aimed at restoring balance, vitality, and clarity.

Culinary offerings, led by Green Michelin-star chef Peeter Pihel, focus on seasonal, garden-to-table nourishment using local produce and foraged ingredients. With a commitment to sustainability, community, and quiet luxury, Eha Retreat invites guests to disconnect from the everyday and cultivate lasting wellbeing in one of Europe’s most peaceful landscapes.
